I'm Kayleigh Kahlefeldt, and I founded Cornerstone after realising that creating content and putting it to work for your business is far more than the red thread weaving through my marketing career. It's been the exciting part!
I started in international PR agencies, where I learned the art of newsworthiness. Then onto ad agencies, where I was exposed to some of the world's most creative brains! I discovered that a creative, well-communicated idea can make a difference in lives and build lasting bonds.
Next, as head of a regional marketing organisation for a global corporation, I was not about to underestimate content marketing. On a limited budget, it's tempting to postpone activity that doesn't generate a direct lead. As a result, lead-generating programs get released with 'make-do' content, poorly-conceived themes and substandard communications. Why invest heavily in marketing programs only to see them fail because you didn't invest resources in the content and assets that drive them? Why focus on the finite number of leads in your database at the expense of the infinite connections beyond it?

I remain convinced of the incredible power of well-crafted, strategic content. The content we share attracts people to us, lights them up, sparks their curiosity, emotionally connects them, and engages them in lifelong conversations with our brand.
